Our holiday park in Wanaka was sited about 2.0kms from the main township. On another sunny but fresh day we went for a very nice walk which allowed us to find a couple of geocaches on the way. The walk was right beside Lake Wanaka which has the most brilliant blue/turqoise coloured water. Nancy assures me that it was a bit on the cold side.

Any way we decided that we would walk into the township and have a meal, but after the previous walk we decided to take a taxi there and a taxi back.

I think the best aspect of this country park was that Nancy could sit in her chair and watch and listen to the birds singing. Nancy would have sat there for hours but we have things to do and places to see.

I have uploaded a few photos of the holiday park views we woke up to in the morning and also a couple of photos from our jetboating trip yesterday.
