Long time, no see!

It was impossible to get an internet access..you can tell we are in South Island 😊

So after the sail from Wellington to Picton we stopped in Blenheim which is known for good seasonal work. We slept in a free camp in Robin Hood Bay and drove through Queen Charlotte Rd towards Nelson and Richmond. We did lots of fishing but the see is becoming a little rough over here. Lucas caught a baby shark by its tail in Okiwi Bay haha. Lucas was lucky up in Pohara where he caught 2 Kahawai fish! One thing I noticed about South Island is that it is full of cicadas! They are so unbelievable loud! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cicada

I loved a Rabbit Island which is a very quiet and beautiful island. We did some sunbathing there..We also booked a kayak for 2 days in Abel Tasman National Park which was one of the best things we have paid for over here! The weather and nature is just so beautiful. I was exhausted and couldn't move my arms for couple of days after!!. We saw seals and dolphins. We had couple of bad days as well so we decided

a two year old child fell into the water.. :(
to do lots of walking. We went to the Harwoods Hole, Wainui Falls, Rawhiti Cave, Pupu springs were is the clearest water on the southern hemispehere.

We drove right to the top of the South Island to the Farewell Spit which is a protected area of number of species. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farewell_Spit There is a Wharariki Beach which is one of the nicest beaches I have seen. Town Takaka is full of backpackers.

We headed towards Cobb Valley which was full of sandflies http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandflies I hate them bitches! They eat you alive, it hurts and then you keep scratching it for days. They will stop at night but then you have the mosquitos! We did 2 day walk in Cobb Valley (forgot to take a lighter with us ups) and saw Mt Arthur (1795m) and slept in a shelter outside which was awesome. We saw our first bird Weka here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weka We thought it is a Kiwi first but they are like house pets. They steal stuff from you and just beg for food ha!

We ended up in Nelson Lakes which is pretty awesome area! We climbed the Mt Robert and spent some time on the river Buller.

We wanted to do some rafting in Munchison but called it off and Lucas went surfing in Westport instead. He is good at it!

We stopped near Fox River and went to the Fox river cave which was cool as they is a free access to the cave. I got my boots wet. Just saw Pancake Rocks and Blowholes in Punakaiki. We are currently in Greymouth and came across really rude librarian! She won't allow me to charge my mobile phone!

There are lots of Czech and German people, seriously!
