Made it to Queenstown and it hasn't rained now for a couple of days! Trying again to get to Milford Sound tomorrow - Pilot says it is promising, but who can gauge the weather here! Arrived in QT this lunchtime (Saturday) after a short trip from Wanaka - Spent a couple of hours walking around Arrowtown (an old Gold mining town) on the way - it is great countryside around here when you can see the mountains and it's dry!
