Edit Blog Post

Kia ora everyone, yes another blog from Queenstown, I find its hard to belive how quickly time is passing by and it has been more than 8 months since I moved down south. I am enjoying life down here more and more and can see myself sticking around for a while. I guess this is just another update so sorry if not to exciting but with winter drawing to a close and the days getting longer it feels like another era is comming to an end and an awesome summer is lined up. I finished work with NZ post last saturday with my final posty run. It was sad to leave and say goodbye, I have really enjoyed my time there and wouldnt mind being a posty next winter, the hours are sweet to work in the morning and snowboard in the afternoon. On oct 16th next monday I start training for Ultimate Hikes. Ive been accepted to guide on the Routeburn Track for the season which runs throu till april. Totally stoaked and looking forward to some exercise, wicked photos and learning more about our awesome area down here. The track is a 3 day walk all inclusive with hot showers and three course meals so it wont be quite roughing it as im used to. Its straight out of Lord of the Rings country and considered one of the worlds top ten great walks so cant wait to get back to nature. I spent some time back home in Waiuku for my brothers 21st and Dads 50th a month or so back, was sweet to see all the family etc and have an epic wave at Port Waikato. The snow is slowly creeping away and with it the touristy scene is changing with alot moving on now and the summer buzz is staring to take place. Our good buddy Yogi has moved in about two months ago and we are getting pumped for some backyard cricket and bbqs soon. Bought a car so scooter is bit jealous but promised it that come summer it will keep heapsa ride time. Otherwise I guess all is sweet and next blog should have some cool pics on the tracks. Everyone take care, miss you all Dan
