Today we arrived in Queenstown possibly the most expensive place in NZ but frankly a fantastic place. Full of mad activities for people like us to do. For Casey and I the lure of Skiing in the beautiful surrounding mountains was far too much for us to resist. There are a few mouontains to choose from in the vasinity, each of them boasting slightly different conditions and challenges.

On the first day of skinikg we decided to go to the range known as "The Remarkables" this decission was based on a fairly simple thought process.... the first bus we saw was the one for the Remarkables. As usual the first day of the skiing was spent mainly on our backsides getting the Ski legs back but we soon got into the swing of things.

The next day we both decided to do some snowboarding and this was another sport which I happend to be a natural at. Unfortunately Casey was not quite as gifted. I think the photos I have uploaded will paint a better picture. This time we decided to give Coronet peak a go and it turned out to be a much better ski area despite being

lower the runs were much longer and more enjoyable. The off Piste at Corronet was more fun as well due to more of it being unexplored.

The next few days were spent in much the same fashion, a mix of snowboarding and skiing.
