Going Global

I left Chicago heading west in the beginning of April '07 and continued going west until March 1st, 2008 when I returned to Chicago having confirmed that the world is indeed round. The stops along the way - Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Nepal, India, and Tanzania. Superlatives for NZ
Hey Marc, I remember some of the great senery there. I only got to the North Island, so missed a lot. Your pictures and details are wonderful. What a kick! Wow, and I thought a 500ft zip line was a big deal! The videos are great and hearing your voice proves you are still alive somewhere on the planet. The money looks well spent, cause you won't be doin that in Lombard! Keep up the blog entries, I (we) love reading them.

Hey man, if working some lame service job lets you stay in NZ for the ski season for longer on your budget, why not do it? Asia/Australia will always be there to travel to. If you find yourself waiting tables, tell me and I'll give you some pointers =) Aloha

Nice one fella! Only managed the Ledge myself. I say its cos of time restrictions, but really I was too chicken for he Nevis! The videos are well cool. Havent worked out how to do that on our blog! Happy trails fella. Only 3 weeks left for us now. Having great time in Peru, despite Natalie breaking her nose hiking in the Andeas! Take it easy. Will upload those pics when I get chance. James

That bungy jump resembles some of my nightmares. As for passing for Irish, it probably helps that you're starting to resemble a leprechaun. Go Irish!
