So after the Catlins we arrived in Dunedin. Being back in a city we did the usual timesucking city acivities of updating ourselves online for hours, sorting out bank transfers and then we checked out the rather comprehensive museum to learn as much as possible about the local area. After trying some of the best wine so far on our trip at Carricks Wines, we took some photos of the highly reflective waters nearby.

..Laura was keen to get the shot just right. After a while we noticed that fish kept leaping out of the water, and it became a game of trying to get a photo of them. I had a go, and by luck I got one. Look in the centre! Its quite difficult to see, but I promise its there.

After leaving the Wine behind, we headed north to our next adventure (Aoraki, next entry), to drove through more awesome landscapes. Here at 972m, it still shows the dry land of the region.
