Sperm whale blowing water out.
Whale Watch Day....it was amazing. We saw three Sperm Whales and a group of Dusky Dolphins.

The Sperm Whales are absolutely massive, there about the size of a plane you'd fly on to go on holiday. They come up for about 15 minutes to take air in, then dive back down for 40 minutes to feed, then come back up for 15 mintues and so on. When the boats captain gets news of one coming up you bomb off in the boat to the area and wait and look. You don't know for sure where they will come up so you just have to look out for them spraying the water out. Its hard to get a good pic coz the water was reasonably rough and kept covering them. You stand and watch them for about ten mins and then they dive, this is were you see there tail raise out the water and back in.....awesome.

The Dusky Dolphins are the most playful type of dolphin and it was quality watching them swim along beside the boat jumping in and out the water. Again hard to get a pic as soon as you realise there doing a trick
