Well we were supposed to go whale-watching in Kaikoura but even though it was a fantastic sunny day, it was too windy for the boats. We did see some seals on the way but were disappointed not to go out and see some whales.
Decided to go back up north and stop off in Blenheim, where we watched some of the cricket on TV and had a Thai meal.
We are starting to get lazy now and are checking into motels.
