Next leg of our Journey - Fiji

We now say a sad goodbye to a beautiful New ZeLand. We have had an amazing time - enjoyed a helicopter ride to the Franz Josef Glacier and then climbed part of the glacier. Been pony trekking, several gondala rides, tried riding the luge which was great fun. We have seen some really beautiful scenery especially in the South Island. We have visited quite a few wineries and tasted some of the produce. We are now waiting in Christchurch Airport for a connecting flight to Auckland that will then take us onto our next destination Fiji. It will be very nice to just relax and enjoy some sunshine. We have travelled a few thousand miles during our drive from the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. Christchurch was quite a sad place with all the devistation of the 2011 earthquake - a lot of lovely building have been damaged but the city is slowly being rebuilt. Hopefully in a few years all the rebuilding will have been completed.
