We spent most of our day touring the Cultural Precinct of downtown Christchurch. We visited the ChristChurch Cathedral, Centre of Contemporary Art and Christchurch Art Gallery - all of which were free and well worth our time. We had an amazing lunch at Dux de Lux featuring some of the best seafood we’ve had on this trip. We visited the Christchurch Botanic Gardens which featured another amazing display of roses and some gigantic trees. The sun finally peeked out at us late this afternoon and we’re hopeful that our weather luck is changing.
