Michelle's B-Day
Our first night in Christchurch was Michelle's Birthday, so we actually had an excuse for partying..:)

80's music
Rule number one: You are supposed to sing along when 80's song are being played by the cover band.

Festival of the Flowers
The cathedral in the square was full of flowers for the festival. Very beautiful..

Punting
I hope to go punting down the avon river..this river runs all through town. It has a trail that follows it through the botanical gardens. It made for an awesome run in the morning..very peaceful

Town Buildings
All the buildings in the cultural precinct are old english.

The Bog
The Bog Irish Pub is our favorite place. Our bartender's name is James!!
The boys have joined the 100 Guiness club. Ryan has me hooked on Bulmer's cider....

Old Roomies
My roomies from Melbourne, Andy and Mike..they like the bog too

Drinking Game
By the end of the night, we had the whole bar playing this stupid drinking game.

Penguin
Here is the world's smallest penguin. He was a visitor to our lecture on the anarctic seminar
