Today we walked into Christchurch from our campsite (a 45 minute walk) as the weather was nice and we needed to save the bus fare money! We had a few chores to do before we flew to Australia which included Phil having his hair cut (desperately needed) and posting some souvenirs back to the UK.
We spent a couple of hours wondering around the streets and visited the citys beautiful cathedral called Christ Church.
In the evening we packed our ruck sacks and cleaned out the campervan ready for return for returning it (the van) and flying to Melbourne the following day.
After leaving University and joining the salary club for the last 4 years, we both decided to take some time out and explore some of the world while we can. We've been on many a european holiday, but our trip to Peru in 2005 made us even thirstier to seeing more of the world. Now, our 3 month journey through New Zealand, Australia and Thailand begins...
