Look, up in the sky!

Oooh Christchurch Gondola was kinda cool. Remember those chair lifts on the Isle of Wight? Like that, but an enclosed little carriage for about four people. Some gorgeous views up the steep hillside, and lovely views across Christchurch. Of course, lots of sheep too! At the top, unfortunately the cafe, restaurant and viewing platform were closed for private functions, so there went my plans for dinner! I went for a "tramp" (walk) around the top of the Gondola centre. Some lovely views of a little industrial port, and over into the coast and the hills. Aparently this area was part of the first landings.
