Tuesday 15th Cape Farewell

The gods have been good to me. For the first time in my life, everything is absolutely perfect just the way it is. So here's the deal: You freeze everything the way it is, and I won't ask for anything more. If that is OK, please give me absolutely no sign. OK, deal. Homer Simpson

Yes indeed, it was truly a great day. I took the Farewell Spit Eco Tour out onto the spit including a stop at the lighthouse at the end. (look this up on Google maps) Not a whole lot to say other than look at the pics. It was a unique experience. We got back around 4:30, I took a nap and then around 6 headed back out to see Farewell beach. The posted walking times are usually liberal but in this case the 20 min posted must have been set by a very fit teenager. Anyway made it to the beach. The tide was coming in so after a few pics I decided to scramble (loosely defined) roughly a 100 ft up a very steep rock for a better view. Woh ha! Or as Homer might say, “doi!” Anyway, I’m here to tell the tale with no fly bites.
