Could it be any more relaxed?

Having decided we had had enough of chilling out, we made the drive north up to Nelson to go to our friends' wedding.

The arrangement was to camp at the Mapua Leisure Park, which is "clothes optional'' during the months of February and March. Ben found this a little alarming, as I chose not to warn him in advance. He soon warmed into things and was a regular down at the beach (with his togs on, I might add).

After the wedding, we went to Totaranui for a week of chilling out with bride and groom's family and friends. Our fishing curse continued. All week, and only one blue cod to show for it. And we weren't even on the boat.

More sun. We are going through a bottle of sunscreen a week.

We are currently in Marlborough, where Ben is competing in a 24 hour Rogaine (not the hair product). This is kind of like an orienteering event, where the people race around the hills to find controls in their own chosen order.

We head back into the hills this week.
