A view at the top of a mountain/hill of Nelson and Rabbit Island
Drove up North, through Nelson and stopped off at Rabbit Island. This is not really an island but the beach is about 9km long and there are no real developments within a 5 mile radius. The water was calm and I had a good swim. After a couple of hours, we set off again, going further North.

At one point we climbed quite high up a mountain/hill and got some good pictures of the view. Eventually we reached the edge of the Abel Tasman park and drove up to the top and stopped off at Pohara in another 'huge' campsite.

This is a really good family place and there were lots of Kiwis there from different parts of New Zealand with their families. It was a bit quiet for us though.
