Norway calling.
The kids discuss prospect for Christmas. Hello all. So, Christmas has come and gone, along with New Year. We had a great time in Gisborne at Pam and Warwick's place, were Amy, Jeremy and the kids were, as well as Sarah, Brad and their two kids. We had 5 days with a mixture of weather, but did get to the beach a few times. Christmas day was great, with the kids up bright and early and the adults following their lead. Christmas stockings were attacked and the delighted faces made the early rise well worth while. Pancakes for breakfast, then the main presents. Once again every one was happy, and, as usual the kids got so much that they didn't know what to play with first. The magic of Christmas remains strong and healthy, you just have to watch the kids. Christmas dinner was the usual feast, were I ate too much, had a number of Christmas toasts and loved every minute of it. The afternoon was spent having a few more toasts, with Pam's sisters and families popping around, so sitting outside nattering and catching up with every thing that has happened in the past year. Just such a nice day, and so good to spend
Who's That?
Some dude who looks like Santa. Taj looks impressed. time with everyone. Good to get back to Gisborne for a visit as well. We were back in Hastings for New Year as Amy and Jeremy were both working during that week while D.i and I looked after the kids. Had a few outings and went to the races on New Years day. Di had to be back for work on the 6th so we have had the week at home. On Monday, off to Auckland for a couple of days, then joining Amy and Jeremy in Whitianga. Hoping for some great summer weather. Catch you all, lets hope for a fantastic New Year. Pip/Rod
