Lunch in Palmerston North. We had Kababs and Falafals at a place called Turkish Delight, funnily enough. It was goood. Then on to Wellington.

Wellington like a smaller, much friendly, nicer Sydney, but we arrived on a day that was quite windy. The first in about a month of lovely weather apparently, according to the locals.

YHA in Wellington City is excellent. Definitely 4.5 stars. This is a great stay and would love to stay there longer or even again in the future. Very handy to Countenay Place’s cafes and clubs.

CK Café, Countenay Place, Wellington - great authentic Asian cuisine. We had Roti Chani, Duck noodle soup, and Chinese dumpling soup that would be equal to or even rival many Melbourne Asian food houses.

We were recommended to go to Jet Bar, Countenay Place and we weren’t disappointed. We had some great drinks there and were even befriended by some great local blokes called Frank, Archie, & their Boss, Travis. Thanks for the drinks Boys!
