Didn't really get up to much yesterday. Drove form Taupo to Wellington. Thought we would be able to have a good night out since we were in the capital city but it was sooo quiet everywhere so we gave up at about 2330 got pies and came hoem to bed!
Today we went for a long walk along the coast where a sealion colony live(may -sept bummer!) and also went up a really fun (not)cable car WE have decedied to stay here an extra night as there is a really big festival on which is caled Cuba St Carnival. It seems to have started a bit today as on teh walk back from teh fun cable car we have seen lots of nut jobs doing odd things! The main event is 2moro and goes on all day and is apprantley NZ biggest carnival and only happens every 2 years so we are really lucky that we have been able to change our plans.
