Yes its true, Amanda heard so many people and spoke to so many people at the hostel that even though Steve had already booked his Sky dive, she decided at 9.00pm the night before, that she also wanted to do it. The hostel called them and a limosine was to pick us up at 10.20 yesterday. Amanda was not 100% sure and she was told she could back out until she had to pay her money, this re assured her. The limo picked us up and we made our way to sky dive Taupo. We watched a dvd of how its done and Amanda started to cry, she decided not to do it and went to tell the man, he said it was natural and that she had to do it or she would regret it. She continued to cry but before she knew it she was harnessed up and ready to dive. We had to wait an hour for the clouds to clear, and we were told three times that it was too dangerous to jump...so what did we do...we jumped, Amanda pretty much begged not to sky Dive in the hazy conditions but they assured her that at 12,000
feet they would find a hole through the clouds where they could jump through. We were filmed from start to finish and we both have dvds of the jump, with our choice of music.It was the best thing ever, breathtaking, atstronimical, awesome, just the best!! 120 miles per hour and 45 seconds free fall. Amanda jumped first and Steve s**t himself, as he said she shot out the plane like a rocket. We had the best instructors who mad us feel so safe. We cant wait to show you all the dvd not only as proof but the most amazing experience and scariest experience ever. THIS IS NO LIE...AMANDA DID JUMP, Steve paid half as he didnt think she would, Amanda now has a very very proud boyfriend! Anyway, please see the photos and another rickety plane that we went in, seeing the ground was immense. Just to let you know the hostel we stayed in had dvd, video, ensuite bathroom and our own apple mac all for £15 each per night, can you ask for more!! We met great people and we cooked for ourselves for the first time so far to save for our new extremist lifestyle. Steve
wants to do another jump, quite pricy but Taupo is the cheapest in the world, so we did well, he may even do 15,000ft with oxygen masks, oh dear god. Anyway we have to shoot, going off to Hawkes Bay to see Steve and Kaz. x x x
