UntitledA stopover in Tokyo was offered by Air NewZealand so we decided to go for it.

When we arrived we were all jet lagged. We stayed at a Kimi RyoKan which is a traditional Japanese guesthouse, in one of the big districts of Tokyo called Ikebukuro, exhausted we slept deeply on the futons that night!!

Tokyo was very busy and fast paced with lots of bright lights, fast food and fish!! Over 3 days we visited 2 massive towers, one during the day and one with even more breathtaking views at night. We also visited the Sony Building, where we tried out all these brand new eletrical items, an amazing flower show, with tickets from the owner of the guesthouse, a Buddhist temple and Shinto shrine, Hama Rikyu and lots more places which gave us a taste of TOKYO.

We left from Narita on the Friday for New Zealand.
