Weekend!

Well, this weekend was an absolute blast!! Friday we met up with some of the guys and went to a cool bar called la zeppa that a friend was DJing at and you could see the whole city from the balcony. Then we went to one of the top 100 bars in the world called Crow Bar and saw one of the best bands I have seen in a while, Hot Grits. They were fantastic!!! Then, we went to Fu Bar again to hear some international DJs and danced till the wee hours of the morning.

Saturday we drove to Devonport with Joseph and went through some tunnels through old volcanos!! Really nice! We then described to the pub bartenders what a bloody mary was and doctored them up and all sat down for a nice afternoon bloody mary. That night we all got ready at joseph's and we hung out in their tea room with tons of pillows and lovely lighting and umbrellas,etc. (Very middle eastern/indian themed). Then we went to a radio sound off which was two radio stations battling with their djs and mcs. It was realllly fun! We called it a night rather early so we could get up early for sunday funday!!

Sunday we woke up and went straight to yum cha (chinese place where they bring around all the food on little plates on carts!) and met up with some friends! THEN... because it was sooo nice outside we went to the water and rented, or should i say hired, roller blades and had a team of 7 people all wearing full on gear around the bays/harbors! Then, we heard about this boat that wanted people to come have a drink and take them out for sunset in a nearby harbor so we stopped by and had a beer and watched the sun set. Then we randomly decided to go dumpster diving basically. It was "inorganic collection day" so everyone's trash was out in their yard. Bonnie K and Olivia and I drove around collecting treasures before heading to joseph's house. Then, we ordered pizza and had a merylathon (all movies with meryl streep)!! BUSY BUSY BUSY!! Tomorrow is my first training day at my new job at a local gourmet bakery/eatery! Niiiight! xx
