Mosquito Bay...
Long walk down a footpath but had to have a look... After camping in a great little spot in Shelly Beach, it was time to head for Auckland.
We had arranged to stay at Yaping House on Mount Eden.
(Yaping House was the first house to be built on Mount Eden) Great little place to stay, with
FREE INTERNET!!! So you guessed it, spent time catching up on the net.
Have to mention David who's in charge, he's so helpful and made our stay there so easy and laid back.
From the top of Mt Eden you can get great photos of Auckland city, well worth the walk up there.
(Mount Eden = A dormant eponymous volcano whose summit (196 metres above sea level) is the highest natural point in Auckland. With a bowl-like crater which is 50 metres deep. The volcano erupted several times resulting in a series of craters, with the last eruption about 60,000 years ago.) Having had a few days catching up and chilling out, we bid farewell to New Zealand and head for pastures new.
We have enjoyed our 6 weeks travelling here (didn't like the sandflies though).

Not down here with a name like this... along way in making the trip for us.
