Had a great trip with no jetlag so far! From the plane we got our first views of the Land of the long white cloud. I can see why, a narrow strip of land with light cloud on top, the whole way into Auckland. It looked beautiful. Green, fabulous beaches, tiny islands and surrounded by sea.

Looked a bit like Scotland from the air, rolling hills. But close up the vegetation's jungle. Hardly recognised a single plant except agapanthus which grows like a weed here.

Took a high speed ferry to the North Shore, so mamaged to take a panorama of Aucland City. Everything feels like home, but different. Perfect.
