Bula! ('Hello' in Fijian) Sheena and I both decided that it's about time that we started some sort of blog to keep people up to date. Seeing as we have time and internet at our disposal before we fly out to Perth tomorrow, we figured it was as good of time as any to start one!
The first week of our honeymoon has been literally out of a postcard. We stayed the bulk of it at Tokoriki Island resort, which is on Tokoriki island, part of the Mamanuca Island group in Fiji. Infinity pools, outdoor showers, fantastic cuisine, intimate dinners, and incredibly friendly staff made this 6 days like nothing we've ever experienced. Once I post the pictures, I hope they do it justice!
Some highlights:

* Sheena somehow was able to wear every one of her 8 bathing suits she packed (it was a 6 day stay)...twice
* A hike up Tokoriki Island, leading to spectacular views
* Eric Sang a Maple Leaf Gardens-worthy Canadian national anthem to help cheer crab Canada to victory in the Tokoriki island resort crab races
* Incredible Sunsets
* The biggest spider we've ever seen (although, given what Kevin has told us about Auz, I'm sure it will soon become the 2nd biggest!)
* Snorkeling, lounging, swimming, new friends and of course more lounging....

So...not to make this one a long one, as our week was pretty lazy, we'll post some pictures, and perhaps Sheena will have the next entry to fill in everyone to the details that I missed.
