Tunnel Creek & Windjana Gorge 6th June 2012 Leaving Fitzroy Crossing this morning was the start of what we hoped would be an experience that we will unlikely never forget, to travel the Kimberley region along iconic roads that followed famous old stock routes and visit some of, arguably, the most scenic isolated places in Australia. Looks Hot
Just been for a drive along Fairfield Leopold Downs Road, courtesy of Google Earth. Not much tarmac and looks hot, not too many water holes (pubs). How does one survive? Keep up the good work I am enjoying the blog. Brian

Gidday 'Jimmy'
I am glad you enjoyed the drive up the road from your lounge chair with a wee dram of single malt in your hand. How does one survive without the odd watering hole you may well ask. I suggect you google Engel or Waeco fridges to gain an understanding of how we keep the amber fluid cold for a refreshing drink at happy hour at the then of each hard day. It seems you are enjoying this trip as much as we are! last time we did such a big trip we did it together, ahh the memories, great times my friend.
