Last week we went to Rottnes island where I work as a volunteer, and of course we have a wonderful time snorkelling, swimming, bike riding. Roman fishes and makes sure we have enough food to eat each day.
Rottnest is only traversable by bike, bus or walking so we tend to get quite a bit of exercise just getting from our cottages to our destinations.

This is the funny little cottage that Roman and I stayed in - holiday accommodation is free for guides who are doing duty.

One day we were lucky enough to score a cruise in a large catamaran. This is the view from the cat shoreward.

Rottnest is famous for its wildlife. The quokka is a small marsupial.

Makes one feel homesick. We have never been to Rottnest together so may make the effort one of these days. Cheers Judy and Rags
