Had the pleasure of meeting our tourguide - Trevor - for the next few days up to Broome who prattled on about how great he was with women and how funny his jokes were etc etc. before we had even got out of the peninsula he had already left half the bus behind and defaced a turmite mound (something that takes years and years and millions of turmites to build)! So we were doing well. In the middle of nowhere we met the other bus coming in the other direction, so we bonded for 5 mins, then off again.
We arrived in Parabadoo, a mining town, where I saw the most enormous truck I think I have ever seen. Auski roadhouse, which is near the Karijini national park, was our night stop - have never been so bloody cold in my life, we slept in tents (dreams of snakes under the bed!).
