2/11/08 Sunday Day 80
After checking into our hotel around half 11 we had to then drop the van back to the rental company. A sad moment indeed but we’ll be booking it again some time next year. Luckily the red bull air race was on in Perth. It was the final round of the championship. I have no idea who’s leading it. It was pretty cool though. There was a massive crowd watching it. We didn’t stay there long at all because the planes did pretty much the same thing each time. Once you saw one you saw them all. We met up with Tim and Gretta again for a few drinks tonight. Went to a bar called Mustangs in Northbridge. There’s a big festival on this weekend, i.e drink loads. Mental place this was. It’s like a country and western bar you’d see in the states. They’re all jiving around the place in there.
