Our first day in Perth

Friday 5 Feb

A lazy morning as we try to adapt to the 3 hr time difference. We then had a tour of a part of Perth and headed for Subiaco where we had a delicious Vietnamese/Malaysian meal. Mike had a spring roll dish and I had a seafood Laska, a type of soup with jasmine rice and noodles.

We then went around the Kings' Park area which has beautiful views over the CBD.

In the evening we went to Fremantle about a 30minutes drive away. A quirky town with colonial type architecture and interesting waterfront. After fish & chips and a beautiful sunset we returned home.
