We decided to camp two days here to take the plane tour over the Bungle Bungles (Purnulu National park) since it’s too far off the main (paved) road for us to get to it on the ground. (We’ve already given away the Gibb River Road because of our inability to handle dirt roads) It was an absolutely amazing ride which also took us over the largest diamond mine in the world, and a huge man made lake that has turned this part of Australia into a huge irrigated fruit basket.
