Looking forward to seeing more pics and hope you contact Cher and Adi in Perth. Lots of love, be safe, be happy and enjoy the big open spaces, eachother and the wide, expansive road, with detours along the way.

Love the history
Thanks, Alexa, for the magnificent commentary on the early part of your trip. I feel as if I was there with you! Great images as well - and amazing scenery but most of all I'm enjoying all the historic bits you've added - and the boys' reaction to Australia! I held my breath when I read about Paul swimming with a sea lion. Dear heaven, was he safe? But what an experience. And I'd love to know where that little penguin came from! Keep it coming! I can't wait for the book that must inevitably follow. Go safely. W

Oliver's Sword

wow! what a find...
hello all, enjoying the blog. So sorry i didn't get to see you before you left again, i missed your calls and then caught up with my sister here and am kicking myself. will have to meet you somewhere exciting in the outback... I have a couple of "pieces of eight" (said in a parrot voice) from the Guilt Dragon that crashed off the coast near where the sword was found. Could be the find of the century! Buried treasure, how exciting. love to all, marie xxxx
