Turquoise Bay
The picturesque view at Turquoise Bay 5th December 2012
Relaxing morning but so much to see. We went for a drive to our neighbouring beach, Turquoise Bay. The water was crystal clear and out came our snorkel gear. We had a wonderful time snorkelling as the tide was low and we didn’t have to swim far to see the corals. About noon, we visited the next attraction, Oyster Stack. This spot was another location with fantastic views. There was no sand, just rocks with corals and shells. Getting into the water was very difficult as the rocks and shells were very sharp. Once in, the corals were an awesome sight but there was a strong current. While snorkelling, Sasha accidently cut her foot on a rock while trying to stand up. The thought of a shark sensing her blood got her out of the water pretty quick. We drove to several other beaches until we arrived at Sandy Bay. Calm, crystal clear water and white sand as far as the eye could see. Awesome location for a swim but there was no corals. We were having so much fun, we forgot about lunch. Anyway, we headed back to our
