As children, we visualized Australia as an exotic place on the opposite side of the world. Somehow it didn’t seem nearly as far away after a four hour plane flight from Bali! This is a yabbie (a type of crayfish) found in the rain catchments of the Hallams farm. The yabbies are really tasty and have more meat then the crayfish I have tried back in the states!

A donation from Mystic Seaport is featured at the entrance to the National Maritime Museum in Sydney. Both Corey and I have been aboard the Charles Morgan in Connecticut.
