Across the road from the Lorne Information Office We have been out of mob phone range for the past 3 days. Yesterday I got some reception and spoke to William on Skype but it did not last long. Moving down the Great Ocean Road our next stop was at a very small place called Princetown. They have a sports field about a kilometer out of town. The "highlight" was counting 79 kangaroos grazing on the cricket field in the morning. I did early start to the Twelve Apostles and got some good pictures although it was very windy and cloudy. After picking Liesel and the caravan up we headed on to our next stop at Peterborough, stopping off at all the sites on the way. After setting up camp we headed inland to the local town of Timboon, stopping off at a cheesery on the way. They seem to make tons of cheese here, but it is the centre of Vic's dairy country. At Timboon we went to the old railway shed where they make whiskey and tried some of their produce. I "reluctantly" bought a bottle - dammed expensive - and will keep it for some special occasion. (John are you paying attention - we might need to
open it along the way)
Today we made headed on to Warrnambool on the coast - only 50km. We have parked in a Big 4 camp - at a price. There is almost no Freedom Camping on the coast. The local councils have massive fines for guilty parties. All over are signs No Camping - No Sleeping In Cars. It should get easier once we head inland. Warrnambool in a very nice town. Very spread out and lots of parks and facilities for the locals.
Right that is all the news. I shall now see if I can get some of the photos downloaded. Cheers

Great pictures of the apostles Clayton ! Was it quieter when you went there earlier ? Found a cheese shop ! Too cold for icecream ? Oh, well, enjoy the whisky.
