The Adventure Begins

Marion and I stayed at Brian and Mary's overnight together with Katy. A not too early rise and a cup of tea looking at the teriffic view down the River Derwent from Brian and Mary's dining room table.

Finalised our packing and sorted out paper work and then we to Gilbeys cafe on East Derwent Highway for brunch. A very pleasant time together - Brian, Mary, Ryan, Peter, Marion and Katy. It was a delicious breakfast and everyone had extra mushrooms! We said our farewells and wished Brian and Mary the best for their trip in seven weeks (but who is counting!?)

Katy took us to Hobart airport and we said farewell - see you in three months or so. The flight to Melbourne was uneventful and we both dozed.

Now sitting in Melbourne airport awaiting Lorraine's arrival from Adelaide. All on time at this stage. But that is what airports are for - waiting!
