Checked out for our onward journey......left Apollo Bay at 9am. The roads are really quiet. Makes you wander if we're so far out of the holiday season. We venture along and fall upon Melba Gulley. It's well advertised on the net but we're the only ones here. Nice place though....it's a bit of a tropical jungle with a path through it. If you standstill there's nothing but the flow of water, wind in the trees and sounds of the wildlife. David
Attenborough eat your heart out! Next was a drive along the coast to the 12 Apostles...actually there's just 7 of them. But the rock formations are amazing and Loch Ard gorge was quite spectacular. Thunder Cave was ok too. 'Tick' done it....Time to move on and find somewhere to stay. We reached Port Campbell. Stopped at the Loch Ard Motel.....although the wireless internet has been poor so far, it's ok in the motel lobby. I just heard that the motel is full for the night. Not sure where the people are coming from as we've not seen many people in days!

Happy Birthday Dad......72 Hmmm. Not that old!
