Surfers beach Hiya all,
Sun 12th Dec
We drive into town today and on the jetty people are fishing there is also a boat taking people out parasailing, hmmmm. I get taken to the local gallery and craft shop, only small but really cute. After the trip into town we all go to John and Judys friends who live just around the corner. The bloke brews his own beer so i get given some stout to try, yum very nice, i seem to be getting into drinking everything now. I get given a few of these and then have to go back and eat before i get too drunk as it is only lunch time. After lunch we all go and take the dog for a walk, the beach is less than 5 mins walk from their house so it is a bonus. Whilst walking Sandy we go to the local gallery The Red Lion (strange name for a gallery - was the name of the pub i worked at before). We stop off here and end up going into the garden and having a chat with all the local artists and share a bottle of red wine.

Pelicans
Watching the Pelicans being fed in San Remo Dec
I go into town again today for a wander around the shops to not buy anything. This was ok until it started to rain on me, i think i bought the bad weather with me from bathurst so i give up and go back. John goes through his family photos with me explaining who is who and who im related to. We then watch a film called 'brassed off' i think anyway it had Ewan McGregor in it mmm. By the afternoon the rain has stopped and the sun is back out so i take Sandy for a walk down to the beach to do some surfer spotting, with no luck. As you can see today has been a day for nothing.
Tues 14th Dec
Got woken up to Judy laughing her head off to something on the tv this morning, god knows what it was but it made her laugh. John goes off today to spend the night over Kev's his artist friend so me and Judy are left to our own devices. We had a drive out and had lunch with one of her friends margaret - the food was gorgeous i had tandori
chicken rissoto. After arriving back home i go and do my now regular duty of taking Sandy for a walk on the beach, the views from here are stunning (and no i don't mean the men even though they are!). judy's son Glen was going to come and see us for the evening but he didn't make it in the end. I veg out all night and do some sewing for some artwork. Sandy makes me laugh as he is wimpering in his sleep when having doggy dreams, how cute.
Wed 15th Dec
That morning we left the house to go to San Remo a town that is really near. We are meeting Judy's son Glen here and we are going to watch the Pelicans being fed. The pelicans were huge, i didn't realize they were so big and there was loads of them battling it out for the fish. After watching them we all went to a cafe for a drink and a cake, Glens paying. Glen lives in Melbourne he offered for me to go and stay with him whenever im over that way for a few days, that was nice of him. We leave Glen and head to Newhaven to go to the fruitbowl, which used to be a large cave but collapsed and now resembles the shape of a fruitbowl hence the name. The views from here are stunning as the sea goes on forever. We then go and have a drive around the estate to look at all the holiday homes that us meer mortals would never be able to afford. I was then taken to Woolamai beach where all the surfers go but unfortunately it isn't the weather for it today, boo hoo. We return to the house and i have my first painting lesson with John in his shed up the garden. The weather is picking up again now so i take sandy for a walk on the beach for surfer watching and manage to spot a very hunky one on the way down to the beach, at last.
Anyway Peeps speak soon
