Well, 7 hour flight over. Arrived here in Melbourne a couple of hours ago, got a couple more hours to go. I ended up being tricked into going up an escalator to the transit area - which consists of a whole lot of nothing (many many chairs), and here I am now trapped until I can board my next flight to Nadi (Fiji).
Not too impressed with Australia, I would like to leave now...

My name is Zack, I have just graduated the United World College of the Atlantic and am about to embark on a gap year aboard the research vessel SV Infinity in the South Pacific for nine months.
