After 3 weeks of chilling out, relaxing etc the prospect of sight seeing in the Aussie heat wasn’t too appealing! Thus our proposed 3 days in Melbourne itself was narrowed down to 1 day! And we crammed it in! From the MCG, to the harbour, to the casino and beyond. We saw as much as we could and man is it a nice city! Almost wished I had given myself more time there, Jen, however, got sunstroke so I don’t think we would have been too productive anyway! The streets are wide, the landscaping and parks fantastic and all in all there was a very nice feel to the city.....but we were committed to leave and it was on to Sydney...which we had been told needed no more than 2 days, for the bridge and the opera house...then we were advised to get out! What had we gotten ourselves in for?!!
