Cricket!
This is Laura, Me, Josh and RoryWell, we have been in Melbourne for just over a week now and its been fun! it took a few days for the sun to come out and Laura and I were very pale compared to everyone who has been here for months! lol! We have been walking round Melbourne quite a bit, its quite a laid back city! We met Josh from uni whilst here and have been hanging out with those guys a bit too! We have done quite a lot this week, we went to the First Commonwealth Cricket Final on Friday which was brilliant, we managed to find a little english pocket in the stands! we also saw the team training outside the MCG on thursday when we went to have a look at the place, its really impressive, especially when you think its for Cricket! There were 38,000 at the match and it was still practically empty!!
as well as this we went to the Ramsey Street on Saturday! it was amazing! lol! it looked so familiar! and we got to ride in a neighbours tour bus and watch vintage episodes on the way!lol! The street has its own secuirty guard and everything!! We also

It was nailbiting stufF! I wont bore with my many photos of 32 runs in 30 balls... 13 in 12 balls....2 runs in 5 balls... got to meet Karl too, which I know loads of people have but it was still funny! he was just so enthusiastic about neighbours! Although it has to be said, we missed Danielle, cos we knew just how excited she would be!!! Then Monday night....NEIGHBOURS NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you just go to the pub and then neighbours stars turn up and then you meet them and its just neighbours tastic! ha ha! We met Steph, Fraser and Harold. You could write down questions you wanted to ask them and we asked if Harold really plays the tuba (for Danielle although this caused problem when they asked where Danielle was!!) andwhen he answered it, he told Laura he doesnt but has another instrument she might be interested in..............hhmm scarring
Anyway, I suppose I should stop talking about Neighbours! Sunday was St Kildas Festival, it takes over the whole of St Kildas and is the largest free festival in Australia, and it was mad! Really busy with about 4 stages for Music and then skating and bmx demos and stuff too! it was cool walking around with so many people, and went on ito the evening too! They even had a dedicated SoCo

Looking at Melbourne from the MCG room! Fantastic! And we gopt some free Corn on the Cob - i swear best corn Ive evere had!!!
We are styaing in this hostel one more night before staying in St Kildas for a few days and then onto Canberra, there is not much there though so it will be a stop on the way to Sydney! St Kildas is right on the beach and its only actualy about 15 mins from here so its not far really! but it is a really cool place!
In true style Laura and I are currently SunBurnt! Although I put on Factor 30 and went into the shade when I felt hot! dammit! lol, i feel so bloody English now!
Right , I have some photos but ill put the neighbours nights ones on another day cos they are on Lauras Camera!

Wow luc, im jealous of the whole neighbours thing (even though im not sure who Fraser is) but then im just jealous that ur in Oz and im not ;) looks and sounds like ur having a good time which is the best thing...and i c our 'cricket in the park' (explaining all the rules to me) day helped u 2 know what was going on!!;) lol only joking!!! ur the don at cricket!!! keep us all updated as i can easily say everybody is missing u!!! take care, keep smiling and keep up the good crinking ;) xXxXx
