Flies??
Well, REALLY! You sound like whingeing poms!! Seriously, how do the locals cope with them? The flies, not the whingeing visitors... Just view them as currants and you'll be fine. The reasons for total lack of sympathy? We're in the teeth of yet another bluddy gale and torrential rain, and my feet are cold. I wonder if our flies go south for the Aussie summer?? [rhetorical]

Whingeing Poms!!!
Not just Poms! Even the Aussies were having a fair old go. We have since found out that they use "Aerogard Tropical Strength" It also repels some flies. But I hasten to add, not all of the little critters! Another thing it's a lot cheaper than the british mozzie sprays and works better too..
