We left the National Park just after 10 and before long we found ourselves driving alongside the magnificent Derwent River prior to arriving at New Norfolk just 30 minutes west of Hobart. The highlight was our stop at Cheeky Little Place, a killer coffee and pastrie shop.

From there we drove around the outskirts of Hobart bypassing the city and headed out to Kingston Beach for lunch. Snug had been a previous fave of ours so we headed back to the caravan park where we nabbed a campsite overlooking North West Bay. The little beach in front of the park is a great place for an early morning or late afternoon stroll.
