After my 2009-2010 season in McMurdo Antarctica, I was looking to spend some time wearing shorts and a t-shirt most days. I decided to do a bit of Sydney Australia and the island of Tasmania. The Bay of Fires is a region of white beaches, blue water and orange-hued granite (the color of which is actually produced by a lichen).
