Arrived in Sheffield at about 0645. We had breakfas, a full Aussie, then went fo a drive and a recce of the town before booking in to our great Airbn. We checked out the tourist office and got some details of local walks the went to the town war memorial to lay a poppy for a Pete Higgs. We met an ex Green Jacket from the Malaya era. We then took a drive to visit a wildlife park and fed the free roaming kangaroos. Afternoon tea then back to Sheffield. We spent a bit too long chatting to Jan and Peter and we just managed to get a take out Chinese as everywhere else was shut and the town was in darkness. It has been about 25c today. Loverly blue skies.
