saw a uniform they wore and from there we went to the lolly shop which was set up in olden-day style. Dad was like a little kid in a lolly shop. We went to and drove for a bit and got some petrol and then we drove straight through to Launceston. We got to the hotel, got our key and went into the room. We were on the first floor

We then went to Cataract George and Mum and I went on the chair lift. It held the record for the chairlift with the greatest distance between poles. The distance was (I think) 308 metres; WE got off and saw a peacock then got back on again and had the boring and scary ride back. While we were on the chairlift, Dad bravely crossed the bridge by himself. After that we walked over a big bridge over the gorge and I crossed it after much intention not to. We walked back around the gorge and then we got to a bit where Mum and I put our feet in the water. And then we kept on walking and I walked across the little kids pool. We came home then went out and had dinner at the Launceston saloon bar. I had a yucky Chicken Kiev
And a chocolate sundae for desert. The sundae had chocolate topping, ice cream, cream, nuts and wafer and chocolate topping. Mum and Dad both had a mixed grill. Mum had Apple Crumble for dessert. We walked back to the hotel room.
