31^stDecember 2012 - 1^stJanuary 2013.

Another beautiful morning in Tasmania and we have phone reception (yeah!!!). Both Big 4s in Hobart were booked out, so we decided to check into Barilla Caravan Park in Cambridge, which is the next town south of Richmond and closer to Hobart. There was a bus service from this caravan park into Hobart for the fireworks, which was great for us. After setting up, we caught the bus into Hobart and we hopped off near the wharf. We walked around the docks and saw the yachts which participated in the Sydney to Hobart race. There were also a couple of yachts still arriving. By 9.30pm, the fireworks started and it was spectacular. Probably not as good as Sydney, but we had the best view from the docks. There was even a yacht arriving during the fireworks, which made the experience a little more exiting. Wow, this year has gone by so quick. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Opps, we slept in this new year. This was definitely a recovery day after a late night out. After lunch, we lazed in the thermal spring pool for an hour. Ahh, today is just about relaxing and doing nothing.
