Dead Battery at Woomera

We’re in Woomera (a semi-ghost town between salt flats that is mostly a military town for testing missiles) for a second night. My battery was dead when we tried to leave this morning. It must have gone flat with all the testing I did trying to get our communication system working. (It still isn’t ). With the closest mechanic back in Port Augusta 200 kms to the south, we were incredibly lucky to find someone here in the campground with a trickle charger. Got the bike started late this afternoon, so hopefully we’ll be able to do the 370 kms to Coober Pedy tomorrow. Must get a jumper cable there.
