Today we drove to Wallaroo, west of Adelaide to meet Jan, Adam and the kids where they were camping.
It's about 1hr30 to 2 hours away and got there about 11am. We went for a walk into town and had lunch in the local bakery, really good pasties! Came all this way to eat Cornish Pasties and Devonshire cream teas! they are everywhere - the Ausies love 'em! Who would have thought!
We walked down the pier, saw fisherman catching blue crab and squids! Then we went down to the beach as the tide was out. This beach is huge!!! Everyone was driving their cars down as it was so far to walk! The water is very shallow so it was fun watching Cooper on his skim board and the girls were building sand castles - then the boys got involved and it turned into sand holes and gullys! Even Wilf got stuck in! Then everyone went for a swim to cool off.
Had a couple of drinks with them in the sun before heading back to Adelaide.
